POSITION: Project Manager

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Group Client Director



Responsible for the daily management of all projects on assigned client brand(s). Works in equal partnership with Account Management and Creative to produce the best possible work with maximum efficiency in the process. Leads all internal activity by motivating teams on day-to-day responsibilities within the context of collaboration and service including workflow, team assignments and profitability. Has client contact when appropriate to the project.



  • Leads campaign execution with Account Management, Creative and Production by overseeing resources, internal communication, asset development, timelines and project budgets across media types by:
    • Leading internal communication with Production and Creative teams to ensure a seamless workflow.
    • Managing internal process workflow and facilitating resource allocation.
    • Managing and maintaining schedules and timelines and communicating accurate, timely updates of all project developments to internal team and client when appropriate.
    • Scheduling and leading internal project status meetings.
    • Organizing and managing print layouts, copy and assets for electronic production (working directly with Digital Production Artists and Print Producers).
    • Facilitating the routing of materials to team and client for approval; tracking and managing incoming revisions.
    • Scheduling and overseeing work sent to Proofreader/QA.
    • Working with Art Producers to manage shot lists for studio and location photography. Along with Art Buyers, track and manage photography selects, color correction and digital retouching information.
    • Communicating and managing media information as it flows into the Production Department.
    • Preparing final materials for release to the Print Producers. Prepare all production orders (print, collateral and direct response). Work with Print Producer to oversee the management of the pre-press workflow and facilitate proof approvals.
    • Overseeing the proper filing and archiving of final job materials upon completion of job (final copy, visual assets, final produced files from vendors).
    • Flagging potential legal issues and working with Account Management to resolve.
    • Issues estimates to Account Management, obtains approval and communicates to internal team.
      • Issues change orders when necessary to account team.
    • Reviews and approves monthly production billing with team.
  • Helps to establish yearly budgets, monitor spending activity, and provide on-going reports regarding account budget status and forecasts.

  • Identifies and embraces great creative and helps to sell the best creative in the category.
  • Proactively seeks out day-to-day opportunities to increase client and agency profitability.
  • Assists to evolve and promote the Project Management position within the agency.
  • Performs other essential duties as assigned from time to time to meet the changing needs of Martin Williams.
  • Assists Account Management (when assigned) with monthly billing




  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of agency Project Management experience.
  • Ability to work with Mac and PC platforms with working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience with online media, including third-party ad servers and rich media technology partners.
